Yes I know this is my 3rd post in a row. But I can't sleep and I am bored, and I can't stop playing with my computer!
For all you west coast Osiers, this is a picture of my place in the T.dot.O. It's a funny little building. It used to be the office of a wholesale children's clothing company. Hence the "Milton Funwear" sign (which sadly, is now gone). My landlord bought it, and she runs her production company from the offices on the main floor. In the basement, there is a recording studio run by 2 nice guys (whose names I can't remember at the moment-their company is called fishyfry music) On the 2nd floor, a local comedian has her office. Although, how you can be a comedian and never crack a smile is beyond me. I say hello to her in the halls, she grunts. It's a beautiful relationship.
But I digress...
And on the top floor is US! See that long narrow window? That is at the front of my living room. I like to call the place "The Compound" It has super deadbolt action on the very front door, then there's a keypad for controlled access into the building. Then in my apartment, there is a dead bolt on EVERY SINGLE DOOR. I'm talking the bedroom door, the bathroom door, and yes, I kid you not, even on the linen closet door. We think the space may have once been used as an office. Oh, and there's a door in the bedroom, with 3 seperate lock on it, that leads to a fire escape. The fire escape leads to our "backyard". and when I say "backyard", I mean "great big slab of payment where we keeep our BBQ". Oh, and the "backyard" is enclosed with a 10ft high fence topped with barbed wire. See what I mean? Compound! Scott loves the security of the place, as his studio contains over $25000 worth of gear. I love it cuz i can stay on my own and not worry about the boogie man. I know, I'm a such a scaredy-cat.
Oh, and it is on Richmond Street, which is the street just south of Queen, one of my favorite streets in Toronto.
The End.
